Siemens Traffic Controls specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of systems that control traffic, in and out of town. We recruit Trainee Urban Traffic Signal Engineers as part of a brilliant programme that combines study for an NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (developed specially by the Traffic industry) with thorough work-based engineering training.

We're the established market leader in the UK, with sales last year of £61 million from customers that include the Highways Agency and many councils around the country. We're in demand too, growing in the UK by 10% per year.

Installation and maintenance is an important part of our business. We maintain more of the nation's traffic infrastructure than any other company – and we have a national network of service centres employing 350 engineers.
